Pump Aid – a Virtual Fundraising Package

Pump Aid the creators of the Elephant Water Pump and Elephant Toilet which has so successfully helped sanitation problems in Zimbabwe and Malawi commissioned  Sam Dunham in 2008 to provide a rebranding & comprehensive online  fund raising ‘package’.

Not for them just up-to-date branding with a  new site design and the usual newsletter,  they required Web2 functionality and an  integrated e-commerce functionality that they could control rather than having to rely on 3rd parties like CAF.   Most importantly Sam was  tasked  to create a bespoke virtual donor database thus cutting out  all costly license fees to The Raisers Edge and similar fund raising software.

The successful system was launched to coincide with the announcement of Pump Aid being The Times Christmas Charity.
