Twice bitten by 2 other web companies who took funds and didn’t deliver, this new ecommerce site has been cannily crafted by webSEOlive to support and enhance Fifi Wilson’s three London-based fashion boutiques.

This ecommerce site, blog, newsletter is fully updatable by the staff and flexible enough to allow tailored add-ons and tweaks as their income develops from the store.

WebSEOlive worked with Murdock for 3 years from 2007 providing a seo & web marketing consultancy role including advice on writing their e-newsletter. We helped them be No.3 on Page 1 of Google for London babers as well as their specific shop locations.

A successful SEO can trigger all sorts of results … the success of our ongoing campaign has included a request from Farmacia Santa Maria Novella to take down the copy we had optimised for their brand, due to Murdock taking the top spot above their own domain as No. 1 in Google for seaches of their brand name. Ooops!

In 2008 we rebuilt Murdock’s Ecommerce store’s backend, allowing them to take transactions in real time, setting up Secure Trading as their payment gateway, providing the customer with the option to pay by PayPal and migrating across to OS Commerce.

In Summer 2009 we relaunched the site with a refreshed design, full zoom functionality on products and integrated a Wordpress blog to increase the stickiness of this luxury male grooming ecommerce proposition. We are pleased to have improved their conversion rate from 0.006% up to a regular 2%.

The Natural Dog Food Company commissioned Sam to re-brand their static legacy website whilst provide a comprehensive E-commerce Web2 Content Management System. It’s a competitive industy worth £1.7 billion in the UK alone.

The aim was to have a system for dummies and that was easy to update & provide up to the minute tips on looking after your dog which would ensure that the site was sticky enough to revisit for pet lovers generally. This increase in stickiness through utilising their themed Wordpress blog would help to drive traffic and build awareness of this small brand and ultimately increase the conversion rate.

The site was successfully launched July 08 and within a month had reached a conversion rate of 4% and search engine rankings of Page 1, Number 4 for the term ‘dog food’.

Start, the exclusive London clothing retail shop for men and women engaged Sam Dunham as their online consultant in Janaury 2007 to maximise their online presence and secure a high return on their internet investment.

Start, the exclusive London clothing retail shop for men and women engaged Sam Dunham as their online consultant in Janaury 2007 to maximise their online presence and secure a high return on their internet investment.

Sammy subsequently she dismantled their their flash driven e-commerce site, rebuilding it to ensure that the site was findable, usable and conversion rates matched the ever growing popularity of the luxury Shoreditch based stores.

Sales increased by 507% in its first year, aided by integrating their bricks & mortar Top2Toe EPOS system into their Ecommerce store. This was to ensure that stock levels ran realtime and customers did not have the negative shopping experience of ordering something that had already been sold – a common problem in designer fashion that has physical outlets.

Ready for Autumn/Winter 2008 and launched to coincide with London Fashion Week, webSEOlive successfully re-launched the Start London e-commerce website with a full zoom functionality and ‘Featured in’ press functionality to further emulate the shopping experience that Start customers enjoy within its 3 stores in Shoreditch.

Following on from the successful re-launch saw the creation of an affiliate campaign and the integration of Web2 online marketing techniques to ensure that the site and brand become as recognisable online as the physical store is offline. Search engine registration and online marketing techniques including Google Base registration were employed simultaneously to ensure that the site and brand become as recognisable online as it is offline.
