If you trawl past your local newsagents you will see how the recession is affecting the doggie world at the moment with so many of our most loyal of friends cast out in order to save money. With dog insurance way down the house-hold bill list many family pet’s health is simply being ignored.
The Blue Cross is helping on both these counts they provide shelter and adoption schemes and vets for families who cannot afford a regular VET. They don’t receive money from the government so need all the help and funds you can give.
Our office dog Benson the Boo comes in daily, he was a rescue and imagining life without being able to stroke him when stressing at & about Google is quite inconceivable! Help the Blue Cross help more dogs like the Boo have homes, health and bring happiness to the people they live with and perhaps talk to your employer about whether you can bring your dog to work? If dog walker fees are getting too much and you are thinking of giving them up for adoption, there are alternatives and one of them could be to bring your pooch to work each day, 40% of companies are now accepting dogs in the workplace and believe the effect they have is beneficial, so before you give him or her up give it a go.
